The future looks bright for theatre

This past weekend, 150 young stars performed at the Wright Rohde Academy of Performing Arts (WRAPA) annual showcase at 16th Ave Theatre.

A requirment of the 16th Ave Theatre constitution is to encourage and support the growth of theatre and performers in Tauranga,  so we proudly open our doors to other groups fostering a love for learning and performing. We couldn't be more excited to host Elise, Natalie, their talented tutors, and students who relish every moment on a real stage. We're eagerly anticipating their return performances in February and May 2025.

The incredible talent from the academy is ensuring the future of theatre in Tauranga, showcasing both dramatic and musical brilliance.
