A Tale as old as Time

Beauty and the Beast - the pantomime

Auditions 16th August 2025 in the Green Room at 16th Ave Theatre from 9am

On stage 21st November to 6th December 2025

Directed by Laura Weatherley

We are looking for singers, movers and actors to bring this Panto version of Beauty and the Beast to life.

If you’re 13 or older, why not audition! There are roles for men, women and teens in this hilariously written, fast paced show.

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5.30 and 7.30, and on Sundays between 3 and 6pm. While you won’t be needed the whole time, or for every rehearsal, it is crucial that you are able to commit to these times to ensure we are stage ready by November. If there are dates you are unavailable for, please advise these on your audition form.

NOTE there will be NO rehearsals on Sunday 26 October due to Labour weekend, however we will have a rehearsal on Monday 27 October 2025 in which all cast will be required.

So, if you can commit to the above, and want to have some fun on stage and meet new people, please fill out an audition form by Sunday 10 August to book your 10min audition slot..

Please note that it is a requirement of 16th Ave Theatre that you will become a member of the society if you are successful in being part of the cast or crew for Beauty and the Beast.
