Be a part of the A Team
There’s a lot of mahi that goes into mounting our major productions every single year and to get these productions to the stage, we need the support of dedicated groups
of volunteers and members in the background. One of the areas is Set Building and that’s where our A Team comes in to play.
This group of dedicated volunteers meet a couple of times each week and some Saturday mornings to undertake the mammoth task of building each and every show set, or to prepare our theatre for our visiting groups. Each one of our sets is made from scratch, right here at 16 th Ave Theatre and our ATeam takes pride in bringing the director’s vision to the stage.
The A Team also look after the maintenance of our beloved theatre. There is always a wee job or two to do around the place - fix a table, put up some hooks, paint the floor etc.
