A native Scot, I moved to New Zealand and Tauranga in 2006. I have been an active member of this theatre since joining in 2010. My roles have included but not limited to, properties, stage manager, front of house, dresser and occasionally can be seen on stage changing beds or changing scenes. I love this theatre and our 80th birthday is a true testament to the people of Tauranga who have sewn every stitch of costume or directed or auditioned for shows and of course to our audience who have paid to attend and have be enthusiastically entertained. Something to truly celebrate!
Dallas has been attending shows and helping with FOH at the theatre since 1996. Dallas’s first acting experience was in 2010 and she has been hooked ever since! Dallas has been on the committee since 2010 and holds the position of secretary. Dallas thinks the committee members are a great bunch of people and it is very satisfying to be involved in the running of our great theatre.

Larissa became a member of 16th Ave Theatre at the start of 2015. She always admired the strong talent and professional shows the theatre put on and wanted to be a part of it and get up on the famous play boards showcased in the greenroom. She thoroughly enjoys being a part of the committee and the marketing committee and has loved helping and seeing the theatre come alive with new branding and renovations. Larissa is proud to be a member of the theatre and looks forward to many more fun moments with the incredible people involved.

Heather became a member of the theatre in 2008 when she was asked by a director to help with props for a play. This started Heather’s involvement, and now you will mostly find her behind the scenes working as a stage manager or as an assistant to the director. She loves working with the wonderful and dedicated committee members and agreed to come back on committee this year and has taken on the role of Front of House roster co-ordinator.
